Puzzle hunts
Puzzle hunts (often misspelled by Blue as puzzlehunts, oops) are a series of puzzles that are dropped over social media for the Bluekwyrm community to find and solve. These puzzles tend to be cipher heavy and usually revolve around some kind of theme, often a puzzle hunt that was played on stream. However, while it might be more fun and in some cases easier if you know the source material, these are all solvable so long as you know how to look things up.
Antichamber
The first puzzle hunt was themed around the puzzle game 'Antichamber'; a psychological exploration puzzle game in which you can only interact with the intricate white maze of rooms via a gun that can manipulate coloured blocks.
The hunt involved seven puzzles that were dropped on Twitch, Twitter, and Discord, that all pointed to one answer that formed the passwork of that puzzle hunt.
Figment
The theme of the second puzzle hunt was 'Figment'; an action-adventure puzzle game that deals with topics surrounding mental health.
Nine hints were dropped over social media for this hunt, with some more puzzles hidden in locations pointed to in these puzzles. The visual themes of these were inspired by the original game.
Taiji
The puzzle hunt that took place during March of 2023 was centered around the game called Taiji. This adventure puzzle-solving game has you walk around nine different sections of the world, each with their own type of puzzles. As the game advances, these puzzles get mixed up and the player will need to combine the strategies from multiple areas to solve one puzzle.
That stacking of puzzle logic is one this cipher-heavy hunt also leans on. Besides that, people who know the game will be able to recognise some of the visuals and the area names these 17 puzzles were inspired by.
Halloween 2024
During the last week of October of 2024, Bluekwyrm released 7 shorts on YouTube and Twitter that tell a bit of a Halloween story. This hunt, dubbed the 3.5th, was a short one and not meant to be too complicated. It also featured Fay :)
